  • Dutch dialects are investigated by:
- Sjef Barbiers within the SAND (Syntactic Atlas of the Dutch dialects) project and the MIMORE (Microcomparative Morphosyntax Research) project.
- Hans Bennis and Fred Weerman within the Variflex (Variation in Inflection) project.
- Norbert Corver and Marjo van Koppen within the Diddd (Diversity in Dutch DP Design) project.
- Johan van der Auwera at the University of Antwerp, Guido van den Wyngaerd and Jeroen van Craenenbroeck at the Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel, Lobke Aelbrecht and Liliane Haegeman at Ghent University, who focus on Flemish dialects.
  • English dialects are investigated by:
- Benedikt Szmrecsanyi and Bernd Kortmann within FRED (Freiburg English Dialect Corpus).
- Christina Tortora within a project on Appalachian English.
- Raffaella Zanuttini within the Yale Grammatical Diversity Project: English in North America.
  • German dialect are investigated by:
- Ellen Brandner within in SynAlm (Syntax of Alemannic).
- Jurg Fleischer, Helmut Weiss and Alexandra Lenz within the SyHD (Syntax Hessian Dialects) project.
- Elvira Glaser within the SADS (Syntactic Atlas of Swiss German) project.
- Birgit Alber who focuses on Cimbrian dialects of German at the University of Verona.
