This Syntactically Annotated Corpus of Portuguese Dialects (CORDIAL-SIN), was designed for the study of syntactic variation of European Portuguese. It is a 500.000 words corpus. The CORDIAL-SIN is presented in four different ways: verbatim transcripts, normalized orthographic transcripts, morphologically tagged transcripts, and syntactically annotated transcripts. It should be noted however that the syntactically annotated  transcripts will not be made available before the corpus is concluded. The topics investigated: impersonal constructions comprise: expletive constructions; clitics; subject-verb agreement; inflected and simple infinitives; inflected and simple gerunds; past participle constructions; negation and negative polarity items; affective operators; relatives and clefts.
