Dialect Syntax

DialectSyntax.org is a digital meeting place for researchers in the field of micro-comparative syntax . Its general goal is to stimulate international cooperation in the study of dialect syntax, which is a rapidly growing field. The initiative for this website is taken by Edisyn, an ESF-funded project which runs from 2005 - 2010 and is carried out at the Meertens Institute.

More chapters manual available

There are more chapters available from the manual for setting up a large-scale project on dialect syntax.
The manual discusses in detail the very stages of such a project. It is based on how the SAND was carried out, and has recently informed new dialect syntax projects which have recently started, such as in Scandinavia (ScanDiaSyn), South Africa (Afrikaans Variety Project) and the Basque Country.
